The Instructor

Ashley Porter, founder of Perk! Pilates is a lifelong dancer and athlete with a love of movement. She enjoys the active lifestyle that has become her career.

After completing her degree, and while pursuing a career in dance, She followed her passion for fitness—continuing her education and receiving multiple certifications. Ashley is certified as an ACE personal trainer and group fitness instructor, Pilates United mat and apparatus instructor, Pilates Method Alliance certified instructor, and a Yoga Alliance (RYT 200) yoga instructor.

With many years of experience in both individual and group instruction, Ashley has had the opportunity to work with a diverse variety of clients, ranging from children to active older adults and those in need of adaptive exercises.

Ashley's mission for Perk! is to provide people with knowledge, motivate them to achieve their goals, and challenge them to continue a healthy, active lifestyle.
